Short Biography
After a PhD in math (which was fun) in 1992 I started programming (which is fun) for a living. I am running linux boxes since 1996. This results in a distinct old school attitude by now. All in all I have a happy life.
My motivation for becoming a Debian Maintainer is that I want to do packaging without creating work for a sponsor.
