For nm.debian.org, at 2022-08-05:
For the past few weeks, I have worked with Ben Westover on pacman-package-manager and archlinux-keyring.
For this past work, Ben Westover sent mails using the email address kwestover.kw@gmail.com
which is the one they're using on nm.debian.org, and they signed their work and
email using a GPG key with fingerprint 3869 DA72 A461 754E 9E36 6B45 C311 C5F5 4E89 B698.
I've made sure that they're able to sign messages with the same key.
Due to the long-term interactions we had, I'm convinced that Ben Westover as they
present themselves on nm.debian.org is the rightful owner of both email
kwestover.kw@gmail.com and GPG key 3869 DA72 A461 754E 9E36 6B45 C311 C5F5 4E89 B698.

For nm.debian.org, at 2022-08-03:
For the past 3 months, I have worked with Ben Westover on various packages
maintained by the Python Team.
The first interaction I had with Ben Westover was on IRC, on the #debian-python
channel, on 2022-05-03. Since 2022-06-03, we've exchanged messages on this IRC
channel on a frequent basis. Although IRC messages are not signed by a GPG key,
the nick Ben Westover has been using (BenTheTechGuy[m]) is:
1. Registered on OFTC's NickServ
2. Consistent with his Salsa username (BenTheTechGuy) and with his requested
Debian username (benthetechguy)
Moreover, although I've seldom communicated with Ben Westover via email before
the present key endorsement procedure, he has been part of two separate email
threads on the debian-python mailing list, respectively on 2022-04 and 2022-06.
All messages were sent using the email <kwestover.kw@gmail.com> and were signed
with key "3869 DA72 A461 754E 9E36 6B45 C311 C5F5 4E89 B698".
Finally, I sponsored "python-pypartpicker" for Ben during July 2022 and was
satisfied with the technical work. I've witnessed 3 other packages they worked
on in the Python Team being reviewed and sponsored by other members of the team
(namely python-freenom, python-discord and bumblebee-status) and although I did
not formally review them, I offered some advice over IRC for them.
All the commits Ben did on these four packages were signed with key
"3869 DA72 A461 754E 9E36 6B45 C311 C5F5 4E89 B698".
I've made sure that Ben Westover is able to decrypt encrypted messages sent to
<kwestover.kw@gmail.com> using this key and that they're able to sign messages
with the same key.
Due to the long-term interactions we had, I'm convinced that Ben Westover as
they present themselves on nm.debian.org is the rightful owner of both email
<kwestover.kw@gmail.com> and GPG key "3869 DA72 A461 754E 9E36 6B45 C311 C5F5
4E89 B698".
