My journey inside Debian started in 2019 when I had the opportunity to participate in the Google Summer of Code (GSoC), a program focused on bringing new contributors into open source software development.
On that year, me and my mentor Lucas Kanashiro kanashiro@debian.org developed a tool called Debian Cloud Image Finder along with the Debian Cloud Team to provide a search engine to Debian Images being published to the public Cloud providers.

In the end, we could present the results in the DebConf 2019, Curitiba - Brazil, a place that I could met more people from the project and start learning more about packages.
After the Conference I've started adopting and developing new packages, here is my QA page:

In the meantime, I've become a member of both the Python and Go Teams.
Additionally, I also have created the Kubernetes Team, dedicated to enhance the integration and utilization of the Kubernetes ecosystem within Debian-based systems.

In addition to my work on packages, I've contributed engaging new contributors and events to the Debian Brasília local Community, located in the capital of Brazil.
Over the course of four years, I've helped introducing innovative teaching methodologies and organized events to attract new contributors to the project.
We've shared our experiences and insights at conferences in Kosovo (2022) and Kochi (2023), where we presented talks detailing the valuable lessons we've learned along the way.

In 2023 I've helped to host the first MiniDebConf Brasília, held from May 25th to 27th.
The event was a huge success with more than 236 registrations, 20 talks submitted, 14 volunteers and 125 check-in's and more than 7.000 views on the website.

Throughout the event, I took charge of developing and deploying the website used for registrations and talk submissions.
My primary goal was to ensure that attendees could easily access all the essential information and have a seamless experience navigating the platform.
Additionally, I contributed to managing the live-stream and conducting post-processing on videos, sharing them on Debian's PeerTube instance.
