I was introduced to Free Software nearly 18 years back, It is an exciting journey for me especially learning new things working with such a wonderful team of Free Software activists in FSMI (Free Software Movement of India). I started with promoting Free Software Ideology with alternatives to proprietary software, We at FSMI have been promoting Free Software and conducting workshops on educating and training people to adopt Free Software and especially Debian since last 16 years. I was involved in building first Debian custom images for Telugu language and images for school education etc since 2005. I have been maintaining few packages too since last few years. I believe that I can help bring more packages into Debian system and maintain them.
