I started experimenting with Linux in 2000 and I'm a Debian user since 2002. I always felt that the Debian project is not only a software project but also a social experiment that strives to make the world a better place. A couple of years later I started working as s system administrator and got to know Debian on the server side. But it took another decade for me to get into contributing of free software. In 2018, I worked on the SSO self management interface for Debian as part of the Google Summer of Code, started contributing to timeline.debian.net and uploaded my first packages.
By now I maintain a couple of packages, for example usbguard, scdoc and some of the packages in the Sway Wayland compositor ecosystem (as part of the swaywm-team).
