I am a software developer based out of Austin, TX. Over the past two decades, I have been involved in the domains of medical practice management, CRM, Linux systems management/monitoring, distributed systems, RDMA fabric support and implementation, patient education/entertainment and middle school education. The target environment for these projects has predominantly been on Linux x86 and amd64.
My experience with Debian first came about with using Ubuntu on the desktop, starting around 2008. More recently, my employer has been supporting RDMA fabrics on Debian amd64 for the past two years (approximate). This project has included maintenance and testing of kernel and user space packages for InfiniBand and Omni-Path fabrics.
I have worked with various flavors of Linux since 1994, and am thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to Debian and open source software development.
The Debian packages that I have implemented for Omni-Path are available on my employer's website, which are freely accessible to and usable by the public under a combination of GPL, BSD, et al licenses.
My personal interests include machine learning and professional grade AV software.
I hold a BA in Computer Science, The University of Texas at Austin, 1994.
