Dave Hibberd

Hi there! I'm Dave, known to almost everyone as 'hibby'. I've been playing about with linux since around 2006 or so, when I was in high school - breaking family computers is a strong start. It's been a love affair ever since, and I've been daily driving Debian for the last decade at least.

Within Debian, I've been working on the ham radio (amateur radio) team since 2015 - 2016 or so - I was introduced by a friend, irl, who is now DD emeritus. I maintain packages within the team, I'd like to grow my contributions, and adopt some more packages within the team alongside being able to NMU for bugs that are report and support/sponsor other contributors within the team also. I'm thankful to irl for introducing me to the world of debian packaging, and for others such as Myon for supporting me along the way - this has proved to be a fulfilling hobby and passion.
