Having been deeply involved in the Debian project since 2017, I've dedicated myself to various aspects of community building and event organization. One of my proudest achievements was being a main organizer of Mini-DebConf Kochi, fondly known as DebUtsav, back in 2018. From handling logistics to securing sponsorships, I ensured that attendees had a memorable experience, emphasizing my dedication to fostering community cohesion.
Another significant milestone was spearheading DebConf 23, where I played a crucial role in orchestrating the event's smooth execution. From managing logistics, coordinating venue selection to helping essential teams like video and network, I left no stone unturned in ensuring the event's success. This experience reaffirmed my commitment to nurturing community involvement and providing enriching experiences for participants.
I've also had the privilege of sharing my insights and experiences at prestigious events like DebConf 2020, where I introduced Debian in my native language, Malayalam, and Mini-Debconf Goa 2019. These speaking engagements not only contributed to Debian's global outreach but also emphasized the importance of inclusivity within our community.
In addition to event organization, I've volunteered my support to the Debian community through efforts like assisting with the network and video teams at DebConf22 in Kosovo and volunteering for previous online international DebConfs.
Moreover, I possess a basic understanding of packaging and bug reporting, enabling me to contribute effectively to the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of Debian's software ecosystem. This combination of skills underscores my versatility and dedication to the Debian project's success.
