Already as a teenager, I read about free software and found the idea to be part
of a software project very tempting. A few years later, I started working in
FreeDict and in Debian. I found Debian the best choice, because of its clear
free software goals, without seeking impractical solutions. Furthermore, the
Debian Accessibility team has started early to work hard towards a system for
everyone, so I decided to help out where I could and can.
Since 2014, I'm a leading member of the FreeDict project. Consequently, I
adopted the FreeDict packages in Debian too.
