I am a passionate system administrator and have been working with Linux for more than 25 years. Since Debian woody, I have worked almost exclusively on Debian and administer hundreds of systems. As a geo service provider, we not only rely on open source at the OS level, but also use as many open source projects as possible to fulfill our tasks.
For some time now, I have been supporting the Debian GIS team with backporting packages and now I would like to become more active as a package maintainer.
