I contribute to Debian as an active uploader and packager within the Debian Rust Team since 2018.

My main interests are memory-safety, update and signing-key transparency, and reproducible builds. I want Debian users to be able to understand and reason about the code running on their computers, without having to trust individual authorities or fearing software exploits.

I've developed multiple tools that are in use at Debian, namely cargo-debstatus, debian-repro-status, repro-threshold and rebuilderd, which is used by reproduce.debian.net and reproducible.archlinux.org.

I'm also involved in Arch Linux (being one of the people involved in rolling out _FORTIFY_SOURCE=3 for the entire operating system), Alpine and the Reproducible Builds project.
