Hi, my name is Mark Heily and I am a professional system administrator and software developer. I enjoy programming as a hobby, and as a way to educate myself about the inner workings of the operating system.
In 2009, I became interested in porting some open-source Apple software to Linux, and created several packages that were accepted into Debian: libdispatch, libblocksruntime, compiler-rt, libkqueue. Over the past decade, many of these packages have fallen into disrepair, and I hope to work on improving them or requesting their removal. I am appreciative of the sponsors that have helped me improve the quality of the packages, and I am looking forward to becoming a Debian Maintainer so I can keep my packages up-to-date with their upstream sources.
