I first became interested in Linux and free software around the age of 17, when I started exploring different operating systems, including Debian and even FreeBSD. Later I got involved in Rust packaging in Ubuntu, which led me to the Debian Rust Team. Since then I’ve been working on several WNPP bugs and maintaining Rust libraries and binary crates for Debian.
I studied pure mathematics at the university and am now studying computer science, which naturally fits with my interest in systems, compilers, and tooling. I also worked briefly as a network engineer, and I remain curious about networking technologies. In Debian I plan to continue improving Rust support, and I’d like to explore network-related software and Python packaging in the future.
Outside of Debian, I enjoy learning foreign languages, travelling, drawing, and generally learning new things. I appreciate Debian’s values and community, and I look forward to contributing long-term and supporting the project wherever I can.
