Short Biography
After getting some initial experiences with SuSE Linux between 1998 and 2002, I started using Debian in about 2002. When I saw the 'moreutils' package being orphaned by Joey Hess, I was getting curious and started package maintaining. I was able to do quite some package maintaining at work, but to me it makes much more fun to enhance my packaging skills while supporting the (Debian) community.
I'd like to take more responsibility for my own package contributions (currently: moreutils, sleepenh), and hopefully increase quality and quantity. Thus, I'm applying for becoming a Debian Maintainer.
