Short Biography
I have been using Linux since 1998 and I have actively advocated FOSS for a long time. In recent years I have also started doing lots of code contributions while working for Seravo Oy. Some of those contributions are visible at github.com/ottok.
I have used Debian and Debian based distros for almost 15 years, and I've done both deb and rpm packaging for various use.
In 2013 I was annoyed enough of bug #565308 that I took on the task of packaging MariaDB myself. At the moment I maintain both the MariaDB and Galera packages in Debian as a DM. Since late 2015 also the Entr package.
