When free software community introduced me to the Debian as an operating system, I was amazed to see an alternative to the Windows. I started using it and got accustomed to the Debian in such a way that we started advocating to many students in our college (that was me in GLUGs in undergraduation period!). Going forward, got involved with Free Software Movement of India, and started working on packaging dependencies for GNU Social package (php-net-idna2, php-db-dataobject). This packaging phase has shaped me in growing multiple directions of the community. Organized multiple installation fests, involved in distro building workshops etc,. I believe Debian is an ecosystem to all the GNU/Linux distributions, so I want to be involved in this ecosystem to shape the community stronger with great inclusivity.
