I am Aymeric Agon-Rambosson, a Ph.D. candidate in computer science in Paris (https://pages.lip6.fr/Aymeric.Agon-Rambosson, page in french), where I research distributed systems, and teach kernel architecture and kernel programming.
I started using Linux in 2016, when I got a machine too weak to run Windows. I settled on Debian in 2017.
I have started contributing to Debian in July 2022, as part of the Debian-Emacsen team (https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/DebianEmacsenTeam), when a couple of packages I used for my Ph.D. got orphaned. Over the following months, I started adopting packages from other members of the team, and adding new ones as well. My current contributions can be seen at https://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=aymeric.agon%40yandex.com.
Most of my Free Software contributions are to Emacs (both core and third-party), but I am also interested in the Linux kernel (which I studied during my Master's Degree, and I now teach).
My future contributions will probably be foremost in the Debian-Emacsen team, but I am ready to adopt other orphaned package that I use (I already did). I also intend to be part of the French translation effort (mostly of manual pages).
