Hello,

I am Talha, a software engineer who worked on embedded systems most of my career as of now on Feb, 2026. I was always interested in open source and believed the cause of it. Initially started just by sharing my own code but then started contributing other open source software (mostly the ones I used frequently) and also the open hardware, examples of these like: zephyr, nix project, sd-wire, gitlint, gnome, yubikey, zig and more. For some I was able to contribute directly with PRs and for some I reported issues and/or bugs.

My debian related contributions: - xlnx-image-update package - bug fix in gnome for EGL 1.4 devices - bug fix for ggml package eventually forwarded to upstream

I would like to increase my involvement further and maybe start by becoming DM for one of the packages I contributed
