I'm a long time open source user and advocate, but until recently only occasional contributor to QubesOS and other projects that I found interesting. In late 2020 I got drawn into Mobian, starting to package and develop the required tools for disk encryption [0][1]. These eventually became my first packages to make it into Debian.

These days I help maintain the PinePhone [2] and PinePhone pro [3] kernels (Mobian packages) as well as Mobian's installer under the QT KDE team and osk-sdl under the DebianOnMobile team and a few other packages required to solve bugs along the way. My primary goal is to make and keep these devices securable for users who want full control over their mobile phone. My other main open-source project outside Debian is a buildsystem allowing Signal Desktop to work on ARM Linux devices [4].

In the long term I'd love to drop the kernel packages, which probably means brushing up on my C and kernel development skills and upstreaming. I'm committed to continue maintaining what I've already packaged and adding to the list where I see the need. I've learned a lot along this road and would appreciate the chance to continue to do so as an official Debian Maintainer.
