Short Biography

Hi, I'm Vivek K J. I'm an active GNU/Linux user since 2018. I came across contributing to Debian packages during Debconf20, which happened online because of Covid-19. At first, I joined pkg-js-mentors matrix room and Praveen (One of the senior members of Debian developer) guided me to do package NPM / JavaScript packages. Xavier Guimard (Yadd) and Nilesh Patra (Nilesh) helped me to resolve various packaging mistakes that can be happened as a beginner. Then I joined Debian ruby team for contributing dependency gems for maintaining various ruby packages like GitLab, diaspora, and pupilfirst. Currently helps in maintaining existing packages and in packaging new packages to Debian.
