I would like to apply to become a Debian Developer, uploading from a Debian Maintainer.
I have been involved in the Debian project for a while now and I had not required a full account for the rare uploads I do and for which I could ask for sponsorship. But after having a few discussions at Debconf, I realised that being a DD doesn't just have the benefits of having the upload rights but having the rights to give their opinions and vote for what goes on in the Debian project, for example the general resolutions. I think after being a volunteer for a while, I now want to be a fully fledged Debian developer and I think I can contribute my knowledge no matter how small compared to other veteran Debian developers.
My main involvement where I will require a full membership would be for voting for GR and from a technical side, it would be for uploading packages for the teams I am interested at the moment and for accessing porterboxes.
I am keen to work for the new RISK-V boxes that we would receive soon and would like to help working on making Debian available/useful on devices with RISK-V ISA. My other interest would be helping with the live booting for Debian installer.
