I support Daichi Fukui <a.dog.will.talk@akane.waseda.jp>'s request to become a Debian Maintainer. I've known Fukui-san for almost three years - two and a half of which as colleagues in the same team. Over the period, we worked on various work projects and I've found him to be a conscientious and hardworking individual. During the same period, I've also seen Fukui-san go from having an outside interest in Debian to learning his way towards getting more involved with the project.

Recently, Fukui-san worked with me to help resolve a build issue in libhugetlbfs (a package I maintain). The bug was caused due to changes in a dependency (glibc) feature. Fukui-san identified a related upstream issue as potential fix and worked with me to have this patch integrated with the package.

I see that he is also maintaining a couple of packages - jsonnet and src - for sometime now.

I have personally worked with Daichi Fukui <a.dog.will.talk@akane.waseda.jp> (key 2713C06DEA80414264F9A5569EF66C2D2315BB7C), and I know Daichi Fukui can be trusted to have upload rights for their own packages.

I support Daichi Fukui <a.dog.will.talk@akane.waseda.jp>'s request to become a Debian Maintainer.

He is my colleague and we are working together to develop in-house with Debian.
He is diligent in Debian and OSS development and is active mainly in Debian. I supported unhide
(package review) and debugbreak (sponsor, in New Queue), was satisfied with the technical work
and general understand of Debian packaging.

He is also actively communicating with Debian developers related to Security and Robotics and
improving Debian. I believe he will be active in some Debian areas in the future.

I have personally worked with Daichi Fukui <a.dog.will.talk@akane.waseda.jp>
(key 2713C06DEA80414264F9A5569EF66C2D2315BB7C) for [T time], and I know Daichi Fukui
can be trusted to have upload rights for their own packages, right now.
