I support Gioele Barabucci <gioele@svario.it>'s request to become a Debian Maintainer.
I have worked with Gioele Barabucci for the past couple of years on various technical
topics, such as packaging and other related work on systemd, and I have sponsored his
uploads of dh-nss, and I consider him as having sufficient technical competence.
He has worked on several improvements that made our lives easier, for example on
debhelper addons for sysusers.d that we are now using in production.
I intend to allow-list his key to upload various packages as soon as he becomes a DM.
I have personally worked with Gioele Barabucci <gioele@svario.it>
(key 02988A8F528FA493E1B98E388F89871CDB75972E) for a couple of years, and I know
Gioele Barabucci can be trusted to have upload rights for their own packages, right now.
