For nm.debian.org, at 2022-11-14:
I am applying to change my status in Debian to Debian Developer, uploading.
I currently maintain nine packages in Debian (including FreeType, libexif
and unixODBC) as either Maintainer or Uploader, and have prepared NMU and
QA uploads for several other packages in need of attention and bug fixes.
I have also edited parts of the documentation on the Debian Mentors website
to improve the text and clarify aspects of the sponsorship process for new
contributors.
Having been a Debian Maintainer for approximately 17 months, I feel the time
is right to apply for a change in status, so I can become even more involved
with Debian and its global community.
For me, this means doing more than just maintaining my packages or uploading
NMUs when appropriate. I want to support new maintainers through the entire
sponsorship process, in the same way that many Debian Developers helped me.
I also want to improve and expand upon Debian's online documentation
where possible.
I am ready to take on more responsibility in the Debian project and have been
encouraged to apply for Debian Developer status on several occasions.
I fully understand and accept the responsibilities and privileges associated
with the role of Debian Developer, uploading.
