I support William Desportes <williamdes@wdes.fr>'s request to become a Debian
Developer, uploading. I have worked with William Desportes on a bunch of
packages for over two years and I consider them as having sufficient technical
competence.

Not only William has been quick in addressing the feedback but I had to barely
suggest any changes in his work to begin with. His work is neat and great and
fast. He has helped in transitions, security fixes, backports, RC bug fixes,
and so on. It has been an honor to work, help, and mentor William over the
last couple of years and I think him becoming a DD would be a net win for the
project.
