I would like to apply to change my status in Debian to Debian Maintainer.

I have been the maintainer of the ddclient package since 2020.  I have also
occasionally updated some random Perl packages along the way, mostly as part of
the Perl team's low-hanging fruit sessions.

I would like to be able to upload new versions of ddclient, to make life easier
on myself and my sponsor.

Eventually I would like to become a Debian Developer.  I used to be active with
the POSIX working group; I would like to resume that activity and use it and my
DD status (if accepted) to help Debian improve POSIX conformance where
appropriate, to improve the standard in ways that benefit the Debian community,
and to act as a liason between members of the Debian community and the POSIX
working group.

Also, I want to bring some love to a few stale packages I use.  :)
