  I would like to apply to change my status in Debian to Debian Maintainer.
  In my time working with Debian I have kept mysql up to date in unstable,
  helped maintain multiple Python packages, and have started helping with
  reviews on updates to mariadb. I am also currently a member of the Python
  team. As a DM I plan to continue maintaining mysql and other databases,
  while also keeping outdated Python packages from falling behind. As a
  part of the Ubuntu Server team, I would also like to bring in useful
  updates from the downstream packages I work on, such as bind9 and Django.
