2024-12-19 00:48 santiago Key consistency checks - Hello Manuel, and thanks for applying to become DM. However, for being able to move forward, your key must be signed by one DD, or have two strong key endorsements. Do you have any plans for that? yes

2025-05-22 15:02 guerra - - I'm currently 100% dedicated as a Debian maintainer, but without being an official DM, it's not easy to get an endorsement for the key. I've tried many times to request one, but the DDs are wary of doing so. So, this being the case, I have no choice but to continue maintaining packages as I have been doing with the help of my mentor, Soren Stoutner. You can close this request if you wish because it's been running for almost a year, and I don't think it'll move forward anytime soon. yes

2025-05-27 13:35 guerra Key consistency checks - Waiting for this request to be closed, which is almost a year old and first was approved and after unapproved (?) yes
2025-05-31 17:58 guerra - - I find this wait for a response quite disrespectful, even more so when I review requests and most are approved within a couple of months. I'll cancel this request because I don't want to wait any longer. Someone else will say that patience is a virtue. Debian work is voluntary, and you need to have some free time to take on the responsibilities. yes
2025-05-31 18:02 kathenas Key consistency checks - For the past 12 months, I have worked with Manuel Elias Guerra Figueroa on abbtr. For this past work, Manuel Elias Guerra Figueroa sent mails using the email address ar.manuelguerra@gmail.com which is the one they're using on nm.debian.org, and they signed their work and email using a GPG key with fingerprint ECA5 016D 963F 871E 5873 CFC2 E573 B97D 48F2 E520. I've made sure that they are able to decrypt encrypted messages sent to this key and that they're able to sign messages with the same key. Due to the long-term interactions we had, I'm convinced that Manuel Elias Guerra Figueroa as they present themselves on nm.debian.org is the rightful owner of both email ar.manuelguerra@gmail.com and GPG key ECA5 016D 963F 871E 5873 CFC2 E573 B97D 48F2 E520. I am currently a DM with DD application is progress. I would like to add my endorsement as a long standing contributor to encourage the current and future work of Manuel. Signed with key 70A0 AC45 AC77 9EFE 84F6 3AED 724A A9B5 2F02 4C8B yes
2025-05-31 18:05 guerra - proc_close I've already shared my opinion on this in the application logs... I do not agree with how my request has been handled. yes
