I would like to apply to change my status in Debian to Debian Maintainer.
I have worked on sosreport for a while and I would like to be able to reduce the burden on my sponsors for uploading packages.
I am also maintaining the package in Ubuntu, as well as one of the upstream maintainers.

My name is Arif, and have been uploading and maintaining the sosreport package over the past 6 months, and also *one* of the upstream maintainers. I am also maintaining the package in Ubuntu.
I would like DM status for sosreport to ease burden on my sponsors.
I plan to work towards DD at some point, so this is a first path towards that, and start to get more involved in new packages or adopt packages that have been languished.
Also, I plan to get ore involved in mentoring, possibly via debian-mentors and help with triaging new RFS requests. |
