I would like to apply to change my status in Debian to Debian Maintainer.
My name is Paulo Henrique de Lima Santana, I am 39 years old, and I live in Curitiba - Brazil.
I started to use free software and Debian in 2000 when I joined my Computer Science course at Federal University of Paraná where is hosted the official mirror of Debian in Brazil.
Few years later I joined to a local Debian User Group and I started to help to organize free software events. Since then, I helped to organize Debian Day, FLISOL, Software Freedom Day, etc. In 2015 and 2016 I was member of International Free Software Forum (FISL) program team. In 2016 I helped to organize the MiniDebConf Curitiba.
I have make lectures about free software and Debian in events.
Nowardays I'm helping to organize MiniDebConf Curitiba 2017, and the BID from Curitiba to DebConf18.
I help the Debian-l10-Portuguese team to translation pages from the Debian site. I recently joined the publicity team to help with news from Brazil. And I'm packaging helping to update orphan packages, adopting some of them, and creating new packages.
