For nm.debian.org, at 2025-06-29:
I would like to apply to change my status in Debian to Debian Developer, non-uploading.
I've been a Debian Contributor since 2003, working on gnocatan/pioneers, live-build, the official Debian live ISO images and openQA and I would like to be able to work on them more efficiently.
When talking to several DDs, it was suggested that I would apply for DD-non-uploading, without doing the DM step first. It has taken a long time, but now I (finally :-) apply for DD status.

As the current maintainer of the live-build package, which is used to generate the official live ISO images of Debian, it was suggested to me to apply for the 'DD-non-uploading' role directly, instead of applying for DM first. With the DD status, I'll be able to maintain the live image better. |
