Honestly, I have no idea what Debian Maintainer is but Jonas told me to apply, yet if this intent does not fit the criteria, please let me know. I am very interested in Debian and have been in DebConf18, 24 and 25, looking forward to 2026 in Argentina. When I was in DebConf24 in Korea, I fixed my first bugs, joined the LXQt team and created my first GPG key with gniibe. I'm currently at DebConf25 and working closely with Andrew Lee, I've learned many things with him. For example, learning by doing the packaging workflow with merge requests on salsa, learning how to fully report a bug and up to fixing my first RC bug today. I also tried salvaging a package but I realized that the other developer applying to salvage the package was more experienced than me and when I get more experience I'll look forward to salvaging the package or others, also creating new ones. I am looking forward to new things at home with the help from my dad(Héctor Orón) who has encouraged me to join the Debian "universe".
