I would like to apply to change my status in Debian to Debian Developer, uploading.

I don't want to go through the DM stage, as I do not wish to maintain specific
packages, but rather do general QA work in Debian (bugfixes, transitions, etc.)
as a continuation of the kind of work I already do and enjoy in Ubuntu.

I wish to gain upload rights mainly as a way to reduce friction, both for my
own contributions but also for the Ubuntu contributors that I sponsor on a
regular basis: if the package is in a team I'm part of, I can directly sponsor
them in Debian rather than do it in Ubuntu while advising them to engage in a
different process altogether.

I wish to become a DD as Debian is a big part of both my technical and social
identity.
