I support Sérgio de Almeida Cipriano Júnior <cipriano@debian.org>'s
request to become a Debian Developer, uploading.

To avoid confusion, I will refer to him as Cipriano :-).

Cipriano and I met about 5 years ago online, during the pandemics,
when I started getting more involved with Debian Brasília.  He has
always showed interest in learning more about Debian, Free Software,
packaging and technical stuff in general.

His involvement in the Debian Brasil development group has been an
integral part of our success.  He helped bridge the gap between our
group and University of Brasília's students by acting as the person
responsible for talking to them (and their professor), managing
expectations and helping with the mentorship.

On the technical side, Cipriano has been working on and maintaining
packages as a Debian Maintainer for a while now.  I have been
following his uploads since he started contributing and I am satisfied
with the quality of his work.  I sponsored some packages for him and I
know he has the technical competence to become a DD, uploading.

I have personally worked with Sérgio de Almeida Cipriano Júnior
