For nm.debian.org, at 2025-08-26:
I support Rylie Pavlik <rylie@ryliepavlik.com>'s request to become a Debian Maintainer.
I have worked with Rylie Pavlik on monado, openxr-sdk-source and xr-hardware
for 3 years and I consider them as having sufficient technical competence.

I reviewed and sponsored Rylie's packages without having to make any comments
which is rare enough to be worth mentioning! All packages are maintained in a
very good condition in salsa repositories using state-of-the-art packaging
methods.
Rylie is also the upstream maintainer of monado and openxr-sdk-source and
she demonstrated her understanding of the separation between upstream work and
packaging work.
When I worked on the initial package of onnxruntime, I came across her work
packaging a previous version and it was a good job for such a complex component.
And even more, she started the discussion with upstream about the license issue
of machine learning models provided in the upstream tarball. She proposed them
to document better (using REUSE standard and SPDX-License-Identifier) their
models to improve their compatible with DFSG!

I have personally worked with Rylie Pavlik <rylie@ryliepavlik.com>
(key 1E642ED2F007FDF153B6688E9045010AE5C2B9ED) for 3 years, and I know Rylie Pavlik
can be trusted to have upload rights for their own packages, right now.
