For nm.debian.org, at 2025-10-05:
I support Daniel Markstedt <daniel@mindani.net>'s request to become a Debian Maintainer.
I have worked with Daniel Markstedt on netatalk
for 3 years, and I consider him as having sufficient technical competence.
Daniel is current upstream maintainer for netatalk, and reached out 3 years ago wanting to get directly involved in maintaining the Debian packaging of the project as well. We have collaborated since then, with him gradually taken over maintenance of more and more of the packaging tasks. By now (and since a year ago) he has virtually maintained the netatalk package on his own, with me doing only superficial nitpicking prior to each packaging release.
I have personally worked with Daniel Markstedt <daniel@mindani.net>
(key F1D1580DDBEF7A5BE5857E0C41F9A186E4F731A4) for 3 years, and I know Daniel Markstedt can be trusted to have upload rights for their own packages, right now.
