Valentin Vidic joined the Debian High Availability team while we were working
on reintroducing the Pacemaker packages that had been dropped from Jessie, and
generally polishing up the whole HA stack for Stretch. Valentin's work has been
invaluable both for improving the overall usefulness of the packages, and the
level of scrutiny in attention to detail. He triaged problems on all levels,
from low-level packaging issues to high-level integration problems between
different HA stack components.

Valentin is pleasant to work with, both on IRC and via the BTS. It's time to
give him the opportunity to upload packages on his own. I trust him to be a
valuable Debian Maintainer and look forward to see more contribution from him
to Debian.
