I support Carl Keinath <carl.keinath@gmail.com>'s request to become a Debian Maintainer. I have sponsored his work some twenty times this year and have no doubt about him having sufficient technical competence. In fact, I actually checked nm.d.o at least once to see if I could grant upload permissions there and then.
I have personally worked with Carl Keinath <carl.keinath@gmail.com> (key 258E9BF2AB5576F2C5C0949A2C376EADE7855D90), and I know Carl can be trusted to have upload rights for their own packages, right now.
