For nm.debian.org, at 2026-01-06:

I support David James <davidjamescastor215@proton.me>'s request to become a
Debian Maintainer.

I have worked with David on packaging ares and sponsored his uploads. I've
also looked at his other packaging work and I believe David has sufficient
technical competence to upload his packages on his own.

He's pleasant to work with and very receptive to feedback. I think David
would be a good addition to the Debian project.

I have personally worked with David James <davidjamescastor215@proton.me>
(key 058781FB3E622A5243D14332EA8864C01E15217D) and I know David can be
trusted to have upload rights for their own packages right now.
