I support Manuel Traut <manut@mecka.net>'s request to become a Debian Developer (with upload privileges).
I have worked with Manuel Traut on libusbgx, usbmuxctl, and labgrid (which he introduced after I had removed it)
for 3 years and I consider him as having sufficient technical competence.

Manuel works even on bigger tasks than the three packages that I have mentioned, e.g., on gnome-podcasts with
several newly introduced rust dependencies, which is work that I have also followed.
Also, I think he is a good cultural fit for Debian as he was involved as a speaker on a Debconf and now as a Minidebconf organizer.
His work on mobile Debian is also an important contribution.

I have personally worked with Manuel Traut <manut@mecka.net>
