I would like to apply to change my status in Debian from Debian Maintainer to Debian Developer, uploading.

I have been a Debian Maintainer since September 2019. Over the past several years, I have contributed to the packaging and maintenance of the UKUI desktop environment and related Kylin software in Debian, working with the Kylin packaging team. My contributions include packages such as peony, ukui-panel, ukui-settings-daemon, ukui-screensaver, kylin-video, and various Kylin SDK libraries. I have also worked on package updates, bug fixes, and compatibility improvements.

Beyond Debian, I am actively involved in Ubuntu and Ubuntu Kylin, focusing on Linux desktop environments, operating system development, and distribution maintenance. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to upstream collaboration and improving the integration of software across Linux distributions.

Becoming a Debian Developer would allow me to take greater responsibility for package maintenance, contribute new packages and improvements more independently, and participate more actively in the Debian community. In the future, I would like to continue improving the Linux desktop ecosystem and contribute to Debian's support for emerging architectures such as RISC-V.
