I would like to apply to change my status in Debian to Debian Maintainer.
I contributed a patch to gwave, a wavefrom viewer.  The patch closes bug #779990
from March 7, 2015 that doesn't allow the program to run.
The maintainer has not been active and proposed me to become the maintainer of gwave.
I became member of the Electronics Packaging Team in alioth and would like to help
uploading this patch, as well as dedicate time to fix future bugs for this program.
