I support Luca Boccassi <luca.boccassi@gmail.com>'s request to become Debian Developer, uploading.

Luca has been a key contributor to the Debian nvidia maintainers team (pkg-nvidia-devel) for roughly 2 years now, actively working on the nvidia driver packages and associated packages (e.g. libvdpau, bumblebee, primus, etc.), testing and taking care of new upstream releases, and handling questions and bug reports from users. He is technically proficient and his packaging work is always of high quality. I'm especially grateful for him taking care of the packages I maintain within the team while I've effectively been MIA for the last while.

Luca is more than qualified to be a DD and I fully support his application. I know Luca Boccassi can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, and have unsupervised, unrestricted upload rights, right now.

Thank you for your contributions to Debian, Luca!

I have worked with Luca Boccassi on packaging Data Plane Development Kit
(DPDK), for about six months. As dpdk changelogs show, Luca is one of the main
contributors. I have already granted him with DM upload rights for dpdk, and I
think he is ready for applying for DD.

I have worked with Luca Boccassi in the Debian NVIDIA Maintainers team for
about two years now. About a year ago he became Debian Maintainer.
He has been very helpful preparing and testing new upstream releases
of the proprietary driver, as well as testing and fixing bugs in related
and supporting package, He is involved in other projects, too.

I wholeheartedly support his application to become a DD, I know Luca Boccassi
can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, and have unsupervised,
unrestricted upload rights, right now.
