For, at 2017-05-16:

I support Bjorn Anders Dolk <>'s request to become
Debian Maintainer. I have worked with Bjorn Anders Dolk on the sia
package for nearly 2 months now and I would like for him to not be
blocked on me for uploading his great work on the package.

I have personally worked with Bjorn Anders Dolk <>
(key C985A104860E5F2D2FD8E8C3F7D3FAD933286674) for 2 months time, and
I know Bjorn Anders Dolk can be trusted to have upload rights for
their own packages, right now.

Bjorn spontaneously contacted me as maintainer of the sia package
offering help from day zero. He had not Debian packaging experience at
that time, and although I gave him just a few documentation pointers,
he was able to fully find his way through the alioth and packaging
process (git-buildpackage and Go packaging specifically) and
contribute directly to the Git repository of the package on Alioth. He
was always proactive and managed to solve by himself the various
challenges we was confronted with, with little or no advice on my

I'm convinced he would be a great addition to the Debian project.
