Declaration of intent

The most important requirement for changing status in Debian is to make sure that a person actually intends to do so.

This requirement has been approved by Housekeeping Robot <nm@debian.org> 7 years, 8 months ago.

This process has been closed by gwolf on 2017-10-31: no further modifications are possible.

For nm.debian.org, on 2017-09-11:

I would like to apply to change my status in Debian to Debian Maintainer.

I have been involved in multiple Debian projects, primarily as a
data aggregation and analysis tool, generally leading to useful
insights:

 * Analysis of the Reproducible Builds diffs, 400+ commits over 2y8mo,
plus working on related tooling and advocacy.

 * QA/FTBFS work off partial archive rebuilds on different builders,
starting from the Reproducible Builds results -> plenty of bugs
in the run up to Stretch's freeze.

 * Partial archive rebuilds for Team Package Java, and build problem
analysis for major transitions, including the current Java 9
    proposed transition.

For Team Package Java, I would like to be able to upload team-maintained
packages. I've investigated >130 build failures for the current
transition plan, and would like to start uploading non-controversial
fixes to team-maintained packages.

Being granted access to do this requires becoming (at least) a DM,
so here I am.
