This is my declaration of intent to become a Debian Developer, uploading.
I have been a Debian Maintainer for a few years, with DM permissions on
config-package-dev and prelink. I am the primary upstream maintainer of
config-package-dev, a system for building site-local packages for
configuration management that integrates with the Debian ecosystem. I
am also a member of the Python modules team and recently the OpenStack
packaging team, and I was previously an active maintainer of the
Debathena derivative.
I would like to be able to upload packages from the Python and OpenStack
teams without seeking sponsorship, especially when new packages need to
be uploaded, packages should get to backports NEW, etc.
