Application Manager report

For Ben Armstrong <synrg@sanctuary.nslug.ns.ca> to become DD, upl., an Application Manager has a look at all the information collected on this site, has a look to past contributions, asks a few questions if needed, and tries to build some trust that Ben Armstrong should indeed be Debian Developer, uploading.

The applicant will be notified once an Application Manager is assigned, and the AM will contact them.

This requirement has been approved by Housekeeping Robot <nm@debian.org> 7 years, 6 months ago.

For nm.debian.org, at Mon 6 Nov 22:03:30 GMT 2017:

I have looked at Ben Armstrong <synrg@sanctuary.nslug.ns.ca>'s
contributions, examined his intentions about rejoining the project and
asked him a handful of questions to quiz him on his current Debian
knowledge. I do not see the need to ask him in more details; this seems
to be an excellent example of a DD stepping down from the project when
they felt their priorities had shifted and then deciding to come back
when they were ready to contribute again. I believe that swiftly
reinstating Ben to active DD status is the right choice, and hope it
encourages more inactive DDs to step down, safe in the knowledge that
should they decide to contribute again we will endeavour to ensure they
can do so swiftly.
