Declaration of intent

The most important requirement for changing status in Debian is to make sure that a person actually intends to do so.

This requirement has been approved by Housekeeping Robot <nm@debian.org> 7 years, 5 months ago.

This process has been closed by nm@debian.org on 2018-01-25: no further modifications are possible.

I would like to apply to change my status in Debian to Debian Maintainer, with
guest account.

I have worked on xerces-c, xalan, soci, and passwordsafe packages for a while,
and I would like to be able to access various porter boxes in support of them.

Currently, I have outstanding bugs on s390x and Hurd architectures, so access
to those porter boxes (at minimum) is being requested.

However, passwordsafe has only ever built on a subset of the architectures, and
it would be nice to see if I can get it working on the remaining supported
architectures (s390x and mips), as well as some (or all) of the unsupported
archtectures (namely: alpha, hppa, hurd, kfreebsd-*, m68k, powerpc, powerpcspe,
ppc64, sparc64). So while access to the porter boxes listed in this paragraph
are not absolutely required, it would further my goals of having the software
I maintain be usable on as many architectures as possible.

Thanks!
