Declaration of intent

The most important requirement for changing status in Debian is to make sure that a person actually intends to do so.

This requirement has been approved by Housekeeping Robot <nm@debian.org> 7 years, 2 months ago.

This process has been closed by noodles on 2018-10-13: no further modifications are possible.

My history with Debian starts in 2008 when I met GNU/Linux, there all change for me :). I decided to change my main OS for Linux, I Started with Ubuntu, and later change to Debian. In 2010 I decided to start contributing to the project, since I felt the obligation to give back everything I had learned thanks to Debian, so, I adopted my first package and started to actively collaborate.

In all these years, I have contributed in different ways to the project, maintaining some packages, doing QA uploads, packaging teams participation. On the other hand, I am part of the community of Debian users of my country (Colombia), where we look for in different ways to encourage the use of free software in our country, specifically Debian.

I want to be a Debian developer, and I am sure I have the necessary skills for this, I am DM since 2016 and really I like to maintain packages, it's really cool. In all these years I have learned (and I hope to continue learning) the skills needed to package, I want to be DD to help others to upload your packages, and make QA uploads quickly to help those orphaned packages that need love. And of course I love Debian!

Regards!
