Drebs has been a great addition to Debian already for some time
already, why he isn't already a maintainer is a very good
question. I've worked personally with him for several years now,
and I have no doubt that drebs <drebs@riseup.net> (key
B2B397904D39F3B3D4BA511EA5E6BCA629BA4127) is someone comitted to
Debian, technically as well as politically with his caring deeply
about the principles of the project. Drebs has demonstrated to me
that he cares in many respects that matter, he is very
considerate and kind. I've been impressed by his clear-headed
contributions to the projects I've worked with him on, as well as
the dedication, quality and fun that he puts into everything he
works on. I do not doubt that Debian would benefit from Drebs
having unrestricted upload rights as a maintainer, I only wonder
how Debian was able to survive without him.
